What is oral surgery?

Oral surgery is a term for any operation performed on your teeth, gums, jaw or surrounding oral and facial structures. Oral surgery includes a wide range of procedures, including teeth extractions, dental bone grafts, gum grafts and corrective surgery.

Dr. Tatich’s passion has led to an oral surgery practice focused on dental rehabilitation utilizing advanced bone and soft tissue grafting, dental implants, dental extractions and outpatient IV sedation along with general anesthesia.

Our office also treats complex dental infections, facial trauma (including jaw fractures) and the diagnosis and management of oral pathology.

WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL

With an oral examination and x-rays of the mouth, Dr. Tatich can evaluate the position of the wisdom teeth and predict if there are present or future potential problems.

TEETH EXTRACTIONS

A number of reasons can determine the need for a tooth extraction—severe decay, advanced periodontal disease or a tooth broken in a way that cannot be repaired.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

When you lose a tooth, you lose both the root and crown. To replace the missing tooth, we will replace the root with a small dental implant.
